2019
A dispute nobody could settle
Our founders were running properties when a resident contested a charge from the prior year — and the old dashboard had simply overwritten it. There was no record. That was the moment.
2020
The first Unit Timeline
We shipped the core idea: one append-only thread per unit, where corrections are added, never applied on top of the truth.
2022
Self-hosted by default
Operators told us their residents' records shouldn't live on someone else's multi-tenant cloud. We rebuilt around one organization per installation.
2024
Managed private hosting
For teams without infrastructure staff, we added dedicated single-tenant hosting — same isolation, none of the ops burden.

We gave up multi-tenant convenience on purpose
One organization per installation means no shared database, no cross-tenant surface, and no vendor sitting between an operator and their residents' records. It's harder for us to run. It's safer for the people who trust us.
